2018 Show Challenge
Black and White Challenge Rules
The Black and White Challenge is inspired by the 2018 Opportunity Quilt.
Fabrics: Black and white fabrics should be featured (whether prints or solids). Gray may also be included as well as one other color only.
Technique: Any technique may be used for the quilt, whether pieced, appliqued, mixed, original design or commercial pattern.
Size: The finished quilt should be 24 inches wide and 24 inches high.
Format: The quilt must have a top, batting and backing (3 layers). Any quilting method may be used. A sleeve must be included for hanging.
Deadline for completion of the quilt is January 9, 2018. All quilts will be displayed at the January Guild meeting on the 16th where voting will take place. Winners will be revealed at the Quilt Show in February. The quilt should be entered into the “challenge” category in the 2018 Quilt Show by the deadlines set by Acquisitions. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be recognized.
